. One of the most challenging projects I managed was the implementation of a new quality control system. It required significant changes in our processes and training for our staff. Despite initial resistance, I led the project by clearly communicating its benefits, providing thorough training, and addressing concerns promptly. As a result, we saw a 30% improvement in quality metrics and reduced product recalls."
. One of my key achievements includes successfully leading a firefighting project at Safe Pharm. Initially, our existing system was outdated and unable to comply with both our internal requirements and regulatory standards. By spearheading this initiative, I managed to upgrade and integrate the old system with a new, compliant one. This project not only ensured compliance and enhanced safety but also underscored the importance of efficiently utilizing our resources within the organization.
. We faced a significant challenge as our sole vendor for supplying technical parts of encapsulation machines (dies) was based in Romania, and there were communication difficulties with our original supplier. This situation posed a risk of production stoppages if any issues arose.
To address this, we formed a dedicated team comprising engineering, production specialists, and financial department members. This team communicated with different suppliers, both locally within Egypt and globally, who have CNC machining capabilities. Trials were conducted to manufacture the required parts, and a comprehensive list was created to evaluate and select the best options in terms of pricing and quality.
The objective was to achieve a 30% reduction in costs and to identify at least two additional reliable suppliers to mitigate the risk of dependency on a single vendor.
. EDA was scheduled to execute the production of two batches for the toll manufacturing company, Global Napi. Negotiations with EDA had been ongoing for one year, approaching the expiration deadline
To address this, a dedicated team was formed, consisting of global representatives, the Quality Control Manager, and the R&D department. This team prepared the necessary documents and engaged in negotiations with EDA to reach a win-win situation within one week.
The primary objective was to prevent production excursions, which resulted in a cost saving of 550,000 Egyptian pounds.
• Our responsible person for making a SGC unit with our Algerian partner passed away, and the other team member resigned without leaving any project data.
To address this challenge, a team was formed, including engineers, vendors, and market personnel. The team engaged in thorough communication with vendors to gather any available information and collaborated closely with our partner in Algeria. We started from the initial layout and worked diligently to complete the first step of the project.
The primary objective was to successfully complete the project while achieving a cost saving of 2 million dollars.
